Expertise

Nicholas O’Dwyer has a long track record in providing technical assistance and capacity building consultancy services to clients in the regions of Sub-Saharan Africa, West Africa, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Jordan and India.

Clients include the European Commission, European Investment Bank (EIB), the World Bank Group, and other donor agencies for whom we have worked on projects throughout over 20 countries worldwide.

We have provided services in the programming, management and administration of IFI funds to support national and regional authorities - enabling them to manage the funding available under the various donor funded programmes.

Our expert teams have delivered institutional strengthening programmes to reinforce capacity in implementing agencies and in management authorities. We have implemented projects and funding schemes and transferred technology by the training of local staff in on-the-job situations in these projects and schemes.

We understand the importance of partnerships with both locally based companies and with other international consultancy firms who offer complementary skills.

We approach these assignments with an openness to partnership that is geared to offering our clients high quality services tailored to their specific needs – and that are highly competitive in terms of costs, methodology and the team of experts on offer.

Technical assistance services provided include project identification, technological guidance, technology selection, project design, feasibility analysis, investment definition and quantification, support for technology transfer, support for project implementation, post project evaluation.
