John Power is the Director responsible for Waster Water Engineering and Environmental services provided by the firm. He qualified from UCD in 1980 and gained an M.Eng.Sc. in 1983. Following eight years with Dublin City Council in the Main Drainage Division he joined Nicholas O'Dwyer Ltd in 1990 and became a Director in 1996. He has twenty seven years experience in the design, preparation of contract documents and administration of contracts for DOEHLG funded Water Services Projects throughout the country.
In particular he has been at the forefront of the development of wastewater treatment in Ireland using the model of bundling a number of towns and villages into a single Design Build and Operate Contract. He was responsible for the pilot project of this type in the Suir catchment.
