University degree in civil/ environmental engineering or equivalent, with a further MSc in environmental/civil engineering or MBA. A minimum of 15 years relevant experience in design & implementation of environmental water/wastewater infrastructure projects, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in management of international projects. Experience in management & preparation of at least 3 feasibility studies and EIAs for water & wastewater projects financed under ISPA, Cohesion Fund or ERDF. Experience in contract procedures under PRAG rules. Experience in preparation of Tender Dossiers under PRAG and FIDIC. Experience in preparation of Technical Specifications of works contracts for WWTP and/or DWTP. Experience in economic and financial analysis (cost benefit & cost effectiveness analysis) will be an asset. |

Minimum of B.Sc. University Degree or equivalent in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Technology / Science. The candidate shall have an overall of minimum experience of fifteen (15) years and a minimum of eight (8) years on Environmental Impact Assessments on road and/or water sector schemes. Previous experience in sub-saharan Africa is essential. Experience of Social Impact Assessments, Resettlement Action Plans and Gender Assessments are also required. | |

Resident Engineers for highway construction projects in Tanzania.
Applicants must have a University Engineering degree with chartered engineer status (C.Eng) and should have at least 12-15 years experience in construction supervision in the appropriate field for the post they are applying for. It is also a requirement that overseas experience on at least two projects is demonstrated for highway positions in Africa.

REF 20364-01 - Temporary Senior Resident Engineer
Applicants must have an Engineering Degree and be a Chartered Engineer with at least 15 years engineering experience, 10 of which must be on major civil engineering works. Applicants must also have the following specific experience:
• Managing contracts under the (FIDIC) conditions of Contract for Design Build and Operate Contracts
• Experience in Water Services projects preferably in the areas of water treatment and supply
• Have good communications skills and experience in managing interdisciplinary teams (i.e. design consultants, civil mechanical electrical and commissioning contractors)
• Experience in the areas of Health and Safety for construction projects.
The successful Candidate will report directly to Nicholas O’Dwyer and will also be required to liaise with the Sanitary Authority for the project and attend progress meetings as required. The position is a temporary position and the construction contract period is 2 years.
