    Kerry Central Water Supply Scheme Shortlisted for Engineering Project of the Year 2018

    Dar Es Salaam Water Supply Distribution Network (Part 1), Tanzania

    Nicholas O'Dwyer are delighted to have recently won a large water supply project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The project involves supervision of works to the value of about $50m USD. Supervision of Supply and Installation of Water Distribution Networks in Dar es Salaam, the former capital as well as the most populous city in Tanzania and a regionally important economic centre.

    Lilongwe Water Transmission Pipelines Replacement Project , Malawi

    Construction Supervision of approximately 18km of Transmission Pipelines. This project will strengthen the backbone of the water supply system in Lilongwe, which is home to some 1m people. The city is in urgent need of more water and this will be a critical component in facilitating this.

    Irish engineering firm wins €10m contract in Zambia

    Nicholas O'Dwyer has just signed a contract to carry out the design review, technical and financial supervision of the Upgrading to Dual Carriageway of the Lusaka to Ndola (T002/T003) Road in Zambia. This is the single largest project that the company has ever won, and is a major step forward for the company in its international operations. The estimated cost of the works is USD $1.2 billion. This project will upgrade a vital link for the Zambian economy, connecting the capital, Lusaka, to the Copperbelt in the north.
